birras
hi is there a tut somewhere how to crate good looking fat jiggle? I did some experiments with a couple of sops, as I did a tut with a whobbly effect, using the spring sop...am I on the right track or is there a complete other approach to it? obviously I want to have the jiggle only at certain body parts no jiggly head so ..general Q (not limited to this topic): can I apply a sop and have it affect only determined geometry of one mesh? lets say some primitives are affected others arent.....hmm??? I think not..! or do I have to split/sepperate the mesh or generate new geometry and then group it (thats how I did it)
Jason
Look at the JiggleCHOP - using point weights (in attributes), you can deform your model with some jiggle. I've never used it, but check it out. Maybe the helpcard will give you hints.
FrankFirsching
To your second question: Most SOPs have the ability to constrain their operation to a group of points or primitives. All you have to do is create a group via the goup-SOP and specify the name of that group in the appropriate parameter of your operational SOP. edward
I haven't looked but I thought the muscle otl stuff already has jiggle on it. I'm not sure if it's on the Exchange yet but it's worth a look.
