mosssi
Hi, Your question is really general and I don't know how much familiar you are to Houdini. anyway I built a hip for you with copy sop and stamp function mostly. so you should dig in this topics. tubes.hipnc
Richard
Havent played with CHOPS in a bit so took a shot at doing this. And then I remember why I havent played with CHOPS in a while, my inability to get channels to do exactly what I want. I had some issues trying to get multiple attribs outta chops and onto the correct attributes (rx,ry,rz) back in sops. In the end I split the rx, ry and rz in Chops (this is why there are 3 channels in sops) which works even if its a bit messy. Richard
A simple debug scene if anyone would like to take a look at why the channels come out incorrectly. So each cone should be pointing the same way as the green ctrl cone in this scene. All the channels are coming out they are just being attached to the rx, ry, rz attribute in an incorrect order. Each one is picking up either all x all y or all z components coming out of chops. Check out the geo spreadsheet to see what I mean. Or you can easily see this by changing any of the rotate values on the green into_procanim_CTRL. It should move all of the cones but just moves one. Im not very familiar with chops and assuming it is a renaming issue. Havent seen much on forum about chops but this I think is a similar unsolved issue. http://www.sidefx.com/index.php?option=com_forum&Itemid=172&page=viewtopic&t=18779 multiple_channels_debug_v02.hipnc Cheers R
Richard
Here was me looking at Shuffle (Nuke) When it was Reorder (Shake) set to Numeric Suffix Sort all along That reordered the channels correctly, so the attached has just one channel node coming from chops which is a bit neater. All is forgiven Chops... WireHoop.mov Hoops_v02.hipnc
