cdrom
Hi guys I need your help. sequencing have pictures on the composite make soft edges. I need extrude for sequencing to get volumetric character. something like in the picture. file https://yadi.sk/d/xiA_NcY6msDCy
Juraj
Hi, I am not sure if I understood what you want to do, but here is my attempt. test_extrude_fix.hipnc Edited January 13, 2016 by Juraj Tomori
cdrom
Thank you. apparently I'm not accurate written. I do not need volumegeo or fluid. need to output getting geometry. very similar to the color image in compositing ps. i use google translate
Juraj
Hi, I noticed you use google translate I am still confused what you are trying to do. You want to generate geometry with alpha that matches that blurred one from your cop network? Juraj
cdrom
is an example. this task 1. there are 2d animated character. 2. The need to make the geometry of the image. 3. projection texture to the resulting geometry.
Physalis
Hi, I will try to explain. He has a sequence of 2D images (animated character). He needs to obtain a 3D animated geometry based on this 2D sequence. This 3D animated geometry should be close to a 2D animated character with 3D hands and 3D legs. May be it needs to generate Z-channel for this task or something else. Finally he will project 2D character (texture) onto this 3D geometry object. Thank you for your help! Juraj
Hi, be sure to check my example. At one stage (before converting to volume) there may be what you need. You can project it on 2D plane but if you want 3D deformed geometry you would need depth data but it would not look right. What do you want it for? mestela
like this? Folk at work gave me the right idea; take your shape, extrude it a little, convert to sdf, vdb smooth, then sample the sdf back onto a poly version of your shape, and use that to push the shape points on z. soft_extrude.hip
cdrom
Thank you, it will very similar Now I need to understand how to generate z-channel from sequence color 2D images. any idea ? 20160114.mov
