charliejh Posted May 16, 2016 Author Share Posted May 16, 2016 I've successfully exported out the obj sequence of my car moving. But now my computer is SUPER slow when I click play. There is no blue caching bar down the bottom and each frame takes minutes. I know there is a way to cache to the disk or something but I dont know where that is under. Atom Posted May 17, 2016 Share Posted May 17, 2016 (edited) The slowdown may be the result of the complex collision object. Does your car have an interior? You don't really need that geometry for external rain drop collision. Try deleting as much internal geometry as possible before generating the OBJ sequence. Any optimization will probably help. turn those tires into cylinders and delete the originals...etc. It depends on where your camera is focusing in the shots. If you need close up rain drop rim action then you can't dumb down the collision on those kinds of hero objects. Also, don't use the OBJ format, try .bgeo.sc instead. It is a much faster format.
