helloluxx
We have just released a new volume to our Houdini Jumpstart Series from Adam Swaab Intro To VOPS Houdini VOPS is a powerful multi-threaded environment for building tools and components of tools in Houdini. This tutorial goes through the ins and outs of VOPS, going through many short examples to get you ready to harness the full power of VOPS. We also do a quick intro to pure coding in vex, as vex is the underlying language of VOPS. In the final chapter, we show how to create our version of a polygon effector, similar to one you may see in Cinema 4D. If you are not familiar with this fantastic series then you can see all the titles HERE. Thank you Tim

Thank you Tim Hi Tim , i'm interested purchasing this course, but first i'd like to know what are the ideal requirements. I mean, it's designed for whose already have a knowledge in some coding language or it explain the basic of Vex and is good for someone who isn't already a coder? bandini
Hi Nicola, This is Adam here, the author of the tutorial. You should have a good functional understanding of Houdini and have some basic knowledge of using expressions in Houdini. 95% of the tutorial is done in the VOPS context (using nodes only), with only 5% devoted to a very rudimentary explanation of coding and writing in vex, which assumes little or no knowledge of coding. -Adam
