Why is this instancing not working

Thanks for the reply.

I have tried in different sessions and  I have the same issue. Even if I replace the object merge  with a fresh instance I have the same problem....?

Frank, I'm not having that issue.

Is this what you are doing?

1. Go inside instance1 network

2. Delete old Object Merge, create a new Object Merge

3. In Object 1 field of the object merge properties, select /obj/grid_object1

Yes, I have implemented this method and still the same problem. Now, I'm really puzzled that you are not seeing the same behaviour. My problem is that the box instances don't start appearing on the grid points until frame 94.

 

Ok, I've solved the issue in case anyone has this problem. Make sure when the object merge is created, that the frame marker is on 1 and not anywhere else on the timeline...
