Szymon
Hi guys, Maybe someone will be interested.... I'm posting 2 free scenes for all who's searching some more materials to learn. 1. Grass System - remember to save geometry on disk and then use reproduce flow to render. 2. Mountain. - quite cool for playing with VOPs. Enjoy. Szymon. PS. Done with 8.0.324 grass04.zip Mountain02.zip
keltuzar
May God bless your soul! Thanks a lot bro, I hope many more come forward and share their scenes... Maybe the mods can add a new section to the wiki like library or something... btw does sidefx have a section to upload scene files in the sxchange area? Just curious... sibarrick
Yeah I was getting the problem of not being able to log on to it, so no uploads for the moment. I was beginning to wonder if it was just me though, so I'm kinda glad to here that it is a general problem.

Jason
Hey, that's a nice clip Szymon! Mmm, motion blur... 20586[/snapback] I noticed a little sizzle on it; which is common for very "noisy" shaders. I'd make a couple of suggestions: *) Make sure you're using AntiAliased Noise VOPs whereever possible *) Render your object with a Shading Quality higher than 1 - like 1.5 or 2.0. This will give you crisper displacements and should fight the sizzle. Hope this helps, Jason
Szymon
Cool... thanks Jason. I'll have a look into. Thanks for sugesstions. It's always good to know some more from experts. I was testing it how far I can go with shader and this one renders pretty fast - about 30seconds - 1minute a frame. 640x320 with MBlur. Sweet.
