anthonymcgrath
well theres a couple things pops to mind: 1) - is the effect a splash that slows down OR is it a splash that feels gloopy and sticky? for the slow down effect you could cache out a flip fluid splash bring it back in constrain it to the screen and use a time blend and time shift to slow it down. 2) if you want it to feel gloopy and sticky you may need to turn on the viscosity attribute and play with that. Check out Ben watts melting angel tutorial on youtube as that should show you some cool tricks to control the splash via another mesh that makes it go sticky... in his video he uses a grid but it prob wouldn't be too hard to replace that with a box full of scattered points.. .so when the splash goes into that box it becomes sticky ? either way theres a few tricks
