deecue
Digital Globe has some crazy satellite pictures taken after the hurricane. This one is from New Orleans taken yesterday.. I didn't really get what was going on in the image until i realized that the lighter gray portion of the city in the bottom right hand corner was what it's supposed to look like. Meanwhile every dark alley is basically water. If you zoom out and see the whole pic you can see the gradation of flooding from top left to bottom right... And if you zoom in, you can actually see where highways/overpasses dip under the flooding and come back out. Kind of insane.. http://www.digitalglobe.com/images/katrina...g31_2005_dg.jpg also, they have a link to before and after shots of a couple cities at the homepage: http://www.digitalglobe.com
