cs00bren
hello Is there any way off ever converting the non-commerial file hipnc to a hip file as i've created a scene in the non-commerial program and it only lets you render it in a very low resolution and when you load it on to master it converts that to non-commerial. or could you export the whole thing including the networklayout and then import it in to master. please help. anakin78z
I believe sidefx can do that for you... I remember some mention of it on the apprentice cd.

When you purchase the full-version of Houdini SESI offers a 'non-commercial to commercial'-conversion. I don't know if SESI will convert your files when you don't purchase Houdini, but I bet it's described in the Apprentice FAQ/mailinglists. You could also contact SESI though... plan9
quoated from sidefx.com "Special Offer At no additional charge, Side Effects Software will conduct a one-time conversion of your Apprentice files into standard production formats so you may complete your work for commercial use. To be eligible for this offer, purchase a commercial license of Houdini and request the conversion no later than December 15th, 2002."
