Blender to Houdini workflow

Hi

Any Blender users successfully able to export a blender FBX with materials, textures, and import with those materials into Houdini?

What specific FBX export, import settings do you use?

Using default export import settings, my Blender materials don't seem to make it into Houdini:(

dunno about Blender but in Max, when exporting, make sure to Embed Media, this means the textures (bitmaps) are included in the export as well

- don't count on mats being faithfully exported...more likely you'd get warning that it won't.

- procedural maps...again you'd likely have to 'bake' it (ie. convert it to an actual bitmap)

Here's my Teapot with a standard mat with bitmap applied in Max, exported as FBX with Embed Media ON.
