Neon Junkyard
Is it just me or is soft transform sop completely broken? As soon as I create it, instant crash. Both in network view and from the viewport This has been the case for as long as I can remember...since h14 even, across multiple machines, linux, windows, different builds, same deal currently running 16.5.439, but it seems the problem persists across versions

But in one scene I have - if I use a soft transform - FREEZE + CRASH - But if I use a normal transform - all fine? Seems like a very odd bug Edited July 18, 2018 by chrisdunham95
seanhedman
I had that happen to me a few weeks ago actually. I was just softfransforming a circle rayed onto a mountain geo. I thought it may have been that it didnt like when I put in the $CEX, $CEY, $CEZ expression into the pivot translate. I tried using it in a fresh new scene, but didnt experience any issues... I don't know what resolved it. Perhaps it's a memory issue, but yeah, my scene must have crashed 20+ times (until I gave up and used a transform instead).
