plazadelmar
I'm emitting smoke with colors. After adding and creating dop fields import with density, vel and Cd channel for rendering the colors are not visible in the render. When I'm visualizing them as color channel everything works fine. How can I make volume colors visible in Redshift render? Edited August 10, 2018 by plazadelmar
jmay823
I would like to know the exact same thing. Maybe there is an expression that can be written for the tint parameter color of the scatter? I suppose you could render out each parameter as an AOV and color in comp but it doesn't help with the beauty render. It seems that the RS Volume node is limited in this respect unless there is a technique that I am unaware of. Perhaps someone out there is willing to share how they circumvented the issue? In contrast, all of this stuff is really easy to dive into nodes in mantra like basic smoke and constant volume which both pickup CD attributes by default. It's not optimal but I'll definitely try the thread as a workaround.
