anicg
I've managed to make the layer composite work, but now I need to choose exactly where the second material goes. I know I can use noises, but I'm talking about drawing/painting a mask where I want material 2 to be instead of material 1 in the layer composite. malexander
The rotospline cop allows you to draw arbitrary spline or polygon shapes. The shape cop can give you more precise shapes like rectangles. You can pipe that into the mask input of an over cop (or add, multiply, etc) to control which area of the image is affected. anicg
Thanks, but I can't use cop texture in mat context. I write op:/img/comp1/OUT_MASK it doesn't pick it up, but cop to mat for a color image works. I have to export out of cops to disk, then import to mat, which is not how it's supposed ot be. Are you able to get a mask directly from cops to mat?
anicg
Now it doesn't even load images from COPs, it's a simple color node
