connecting points search radius

Recommended Posts

righto, what am i missing here...Pythagoras told me 2000 years ago for a right angled triangle, c^2 = a^2 + b^2

So, points of a box of unit length segments.....connect with max search distance as the hypotenuse of said triangle.

result...what the expletives ??? How did it connect from top right down to bottom ?

(even longer, it connected front bottom left corner to top right back corner !)

search radius doesn't really represent radius, but half the radius for some reason

yeah this fineprint should be in BOLD i reckon (previous to this I've always assumed it's a true point to point search...now I have to think well how 'fat' are these points as well)
