Midphase
Renders seem a bit simplistic and cartoonish to me compared to, say an Arnold volumetric render. I guess it can work for some things where the viewer isn't paying too close attention to the details, but for a hero shot I don't know if this would work for a cinematic quality effect. flcc
Really Impressive. I play a bit with this "toy". And I must say, between presets (there is a bunch) and the real time you achieve desired result in no time. RealTime is a game changer. It reminds me the first times I tried Octane. UI is clear and simple I try it on Little station with GTX 1660 super and it's really smooth And on discord the guy's are really reactive Midphase : Effectively. Probably not for hero simulation, but sufficient for small or medium static sim like campfire, torchs, ice smoke etc.. The purpose is to export VDB and make renders in your favorite renderer. Better to keep a close eye on this.

flcc
Nop, GTX 1660 super. I ran some tests (only redshift) because it's not even on the octane bench. It's roughly equivalent to a 1080 ti. When it came out, it was excellent value for money. Edited May 6, 2020 by flcc
