pan.mentolka 2 Posted May 20, 2020 Hello houdini folk! Quick question, is possible somehow scale the vellum struts, during simulation? what I want to achieve is simulated in dopnet in attached file. Essentially I just want enlarging pighead but in vellum, with struts. Thanks for any advices! vellum_scale_like_rigidbody.hip
anim 1,209 Posted May 20, 2020 use restlength scale instead of restlength (which would force exact restlength) and apply it only on the constraints you want, in your case stretch and strut but not bend also you can experiment with tetrahedral softbodies depending on effect you want to get, struts can feel a liffle less organic and don't have volume preservation vellum_scale_like_rigidbody_fix.hip
