sant0s81
Hey, I know, HF from LiDAR can be heavy on RAM. But when I load my scene and unflag the geometry where I have my HF from LiDAR, the memory use is not going down. Its still using almost all of my 128GB of RAM. Btw, of course I cached the HF, so its not recalculating anything but loading it from the HDD. I tried the performance monitor to see, if there is something using all my RAM. But like I said, I unflagged everything and still my RAM is used. And even when the HF is quite a heavy geometry, its not THAT crazy... Is there another way to find out, whats going on with Houdini? I am on 416, maybe I should change to the updated version? Only way to lower the RAM usage is ti kill Houdini Thx, sant0s Edited June 26, 2020 by sant0s81
bunker
not sure if that would fix it but did you try using the Cache Manager? (Alt+Shift+M)
Rence
Have you tried bringing up the cache manager and clearing all cache? Worth a try..
