doc
I want to create a .dshad file that's rendered from my camera. I usually do this by making a light and channel refing all the paramater to match my camera. Then I turn "generate final image" off in the specific tab of my rman rop. Is there a way i can avoid creating this extra light and use my camera instead? many thanks
symek
What I usually do is that I make surface shader with Pz pipe into Cd and render my geo with it applied from camera. If you're looking for mantra-like "-Z" option ... to make deep shadow map... hmm it won't help, sorry. cheers, sy. Jason
Yes, you can do this. In the Renderman ROP you can do it. The primary image you can throw away since there is no way to specify all you need here, but you can get one of the Aux Files to render out the deep shadows.... file: mydeepshadow.dsh.tex device: deepshad variable: deepopacity Yup yup yup..
