MG
This is probably before I ever got in touch with Houdini. Was it on the old site. (The one in orange?)
miguel m
It was probably on the even older site, white background, black text on the right hand side... about half dozen images. It deserves a place in the gallery with the rest of sidefx nostalgia

(And are you sure you are talking about the Side Effects Software site? Instead of the od[force] site...)
miguel m
yep, sidefx website. It was still there sometime in 2000, not sure.
michael
speaking of old Side Effects stuff....what was the deal with the 'Unreal' contest? the one with the guy floating above a keyboard underwater...was it a contest?....there was some stuff on the old (2001) site but there didn't seem to be much info on it.... it would be cool to have that stuff (scene files, images etc) around along with the legacy material... capinXcrunch
For a few good laughs and a trip down memory lane; check out the links. http://web.archive.org/web/19961229230034/...p://sidefx.com/ http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.sidefx.com I always found the really old sidefx websites to be really cheasy (in good way) They had that; I am too lazy to make this site look all corporate. cheers -capin_crunch

And how stupid of me; there are archives on the net By the way, I hate those extremely corporate (focussed) sites anyways.
MG
By the way; I remember this site. And it's the one I was reffering about in my second post. http://web.archive.org/web/20010720224807/...www.sidefx.com/ It's damn classy, if you ask me. But using it for more than two and a half years would be a little long yes. I guess...
danteA
I actually liked the look of the orange site even though it had next to no content like the current incarnation.
