user1010
Hi, I need to create a growing effect of a plant using an existing model. The model has a main branch and leaves. I've been told to follow those steps but I can't seem to figure out how to do it properly. 1. Create a spline that represents the geometry. I can't figure out how to have only 1 primitive. 2. attribute Interpolate using an animation based on the curveu : i@sourceprim = 0; v@sourceprimuv = (set(f@curveu, 0, 0) * ch('anim')); 3. Point deform the model with the animated spline. It creates weird rotations even if I feed an orient attribute 4. attach the leaves Thanks for helping! hannes603
untitled.mp4 you could use just an simple point infection and attrib blur.. im not recommand to use pre existing geo for growth, since you wont have procedual top to bottom control about all paramenters. try to rebuild the plant in houdini. neighbours_inf_vop_set_attrib_age__growth_plant.hip
