Shannen91
Hello, Please, help me understand what I'm doing wrong. I have a scene with two simulations. I made the first setup after watching this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_gi7afmWTk&t=6921s Mixing rest and rest2 atributes works great. But in the second setup I simulated liquid for 75 frames, and my noise on the liquid started to work strangely. Every 50 frames noise is updated ( RS Noise), but not smoothly, it starts with a black spot. It looks like something is wrong. Please, tell me what I missed. Thank you. flip_mix_rest_01.hip Edited March 18 by Shannen91

But in your example the situation is similar: between the update of the rest attribute the uv on the sim stays the same ( in your case yellow ). Maybe I'm wrong, but after viewing a large number of different techniques for creating uv on liquids, i think this method with creation dual rest is not suitable in principle ( I mean in my case when the simulation does not only occur in the first frame but lasts for a long time) Edited March 18 by Shannen91
