Div
Hi, i know that's a very dumb question, but i didn't find the way to export your shader in shops in order to import it to another scene.... Could you help me??
stevenong
There is no need to export anything. Select the SHOP you want, copy it, open the other hip file & paste the SHOP. Cheers! steven

marque_pierre
But... if you have to do it between computers?
jamesr
You could copy/paste it into an empty houdini scene, then open that and copy/paste. Or simpler you just make the shop into an HDA and save it someplace and load it in.
davpe
or you can use Gallery manager to store any shader or node tree. then you can tranfer gallery files. very convenient and easy to use.
martinkindl83
or you can share it using following method (but that might be overkill for your setup), i use it to shader materials across multiple scenes with option to sync them back to lookdev scene if needed. Create shop_network, convert it to OTL and load it back. Save all your materials inside that OTL.
