ihab
Hey Martin! Well usually i don't use auto takes at all .. it gets too confusing as you noticed. Just RMB on the parameter you want to override and choose "Include in Take" I think i'm just stating the obvious Just wanted to say hi. Cheers
7Losses
Hello, I was also just about to post a query about this. I am also confused with the workflow of take and the auto take feature. In my file I have 4 Takes: 1. Animated ball 2. Ball shadow 3. Background 4. Background shadow (with a 5th one later on for the snow.) I am however getting utterly confused by the workflow. In my shadow takes I have assigned a shadowmatte material. I'm still not getting the results i'm looking for. I've attached the file and was wondering if anyone had the time to give it a quick look over? snowman7LossesConfusedByTakes.zip
ofer
I wish AutoTakes could be disabled completely. Sometimes it is turned on automatically, and when I notice it becomes a mess...
7Losses
I'm not even sure what Auto-take does. I'm thinking it is like Autokey. I'm still very fuzzy on takes in general. After watching the sidefx video on takes I thought I knew what I was doing.
