cloudfx
HI all, I rendered a sequence using image plane to make zDepth and I bring the rendered zDepth sequence using COP file node. It seems right with the COP file node, but not with shake. I opened up the sequence using shake in terminal. and it does not show me anything. Thanks, -Jae
michael
do a search on the forums and I'm sure there is a thread about this somewhere.... I /think/ it has to do with the range of values... try a brightness node in Shake and turn it way down...
SpencerL
shake doesnt bring in .pic files. What image format are you using?
cloudfx
shake doesnt bring in .pic files. What image format are you using? I am using Tiff format. The funny thing is when I loaded the sequence in Shake(which I execute), and loaded the images with "file in" node, the images looked right. But, When I opened the sequence files with Terminal and type shake " <sequence name> ", it showed me black images.. Thanks, -Jae

Thanks, -Jae This seems to me like its a shake issue you are having and not a houdini issue. What is the synatx/command you are entering in the command line? It should probably be something like: shake myImgSeq.#.tif -t 1-100x1

SpencerL
What is "-t 1-100x1" doing?? giving the frame range of the sequence. Have you tried a different img viewer, such as mplay, gmplay, etc?
cloudfx
giving the frame range of the sequence. Have you tried a different img viewer, such as mplay, gmplay, etc? I've used frame cycler to see it. I just did like this fc sequencename.001-100.tiff or sequencename 001-100 .
minong
must change to float range in shake So in Shake: 1 : make your tiff 8bit to float use 8/16/float node 2 : add color/ replace node. set to ZZZZ 3 : use range node like color/login ( change modo to line to log)
