marQiemarQ Posted July 26, 2009 Share Posted July 26, 2009 Hey all, I will be attending Siggraph for the first time this year as a student volunteer. I am really looking forward to seeing what's new in the industry and talking to prospective employers. I have no idea what to expect because I have never been to a conference with the significance as Siggraph. One of my main focuses to is to make contacts with as many people as possible for networking purposes. Has anyone been to Siggraph before? What was the experience like? Are the representatives from different studios easy to talk with? One thing I am concerned about is just being another face in the crowd. How can I make myself stand out?
