BulletSOP is implementation of Bullet library (bulletphysics.org) inside SideFx Houdini (sidefx.com).
It's a plugin for creating incredibly large rigid body simulations on average PC.

Thanks Jordi,

At this moment I don't have much time, but I will try to compile it again.

OSX version is not so pressing issue since all studios who bought it work on Linux.

 

I just want to ask If there is someone who has experiences with HDK on OSX + bullet library. Maybe someone from this old thread: http://forums.odforce.net/topic/10931-step-by-step-bullet-on-the-mac/

I've just send source code to one Mac user, so We can hope that He will be able to compile it soon!

 

 

the older problem:can not find the sops (13.0.376build RHEL)

Sorry I don't have resources and time to compile it for all Houdini OS version.

I work on Ubuntu gcc4.4.

Jordi, and any other Mac users, let me know if it works; compiled for 13.0.376.

This is only the .dylib file, you'll need to place it in ~/Library/Preferences/houdini/13.0/dso. You shouldn't need any other libraries that aren't part of OS X or Houdini.

No, everything is in readme file!

BUT keep in mind that we don't support all linux distribution!

 

What OS(+gcc version) do you use?

What Houdini version do you use?

i'm using 

 

win 7 pro 64-bit

 

Houdini 13.0.380

 

 i don't know what my gcc version is but i did download  cygwin ver2.850 64-bit if that helps

Aha you use Windows. I thought that you are Linux user.

 

Anyway do you download Houdini vc9 or vc11?

Hi Milan,

Just wondering if the latest production build H13.0.655 supported? Most of my assets are build after 376 so I do not really want to downgrade as it might cause major issues.
