Hi, I was messing around with 3D grids of boxes in the past, as well as low res volumes/vdb but I never figured out how to generate "boxy" volumes, or box grids with interior faces removed, making a compound shape with no interor geometry. Is this generally difficult to achieve? I think my main problem is terminology and difficulty to accurately search for help on the topic. So any help will be appreciated as I try to dive back in! My last attempt was making basic cellular automata with cubes, it gets very heavy if you output a high res grid with all the interior box faces, which you never see anyway. Thanks, Nik
I have an object shattering using a voronoi fracture, i'm importing it to Maya as an alembic cache but i have to manually select all of the inside faces of the cracks to texture them differently. Is there a way i can select all inside faces on a voronoi fracture object in Houdini to make things quicker? Thanks
Hello guys ! I'm always training myself in Voronoi fracture with Houdini. Now I have another problem ^^" I have a mesh with a shell, and the Voronoi fracture understand that. But not with all pieces. I have weird inside mesh added in a few pieces and I don't know why :/ I tweak the random seed in Voronoi fracture points sop but I always have one or two piece with weird inside polygons :/ Thanks
