MG
Any tutorials on the web which explain me how I could do morphs (if possible) in Houdini? Like in this old external grid-based morphing tool, MOJO, which you got with PRISMS. (As shown on the page below). http://www.odforce.net/gallery/image.php?id=
MG
Anyone? I didn't really want to bump this thread... ah actually I did. But I am so curious! So forgive me please
TheUsualAlex
Blendshape you mean? Houdini has Blend SOP and Sequence Blend SOP. Sequence Blend, as the name imply, will blend objects of the objects that are somewhat like an series or animated objects very well. Blend SOP would be more like BlendShape found in Maya and other application. Cheers.

I guess there's no "grid-based" 2D morphing tool (compositing operator perhaps?) anymore in Houdini? (as seen in the image of that link I posted.) miguel m
at least there used to be a 2d image morph program. I think there's a screenshot in the gallery, sidefx nostalgia.
danteA
Hmm ... how about texture mapping one side of a grid or box and then using the lattice sop? For animating the deformation, you could use a lot of transform sops. Do everything in an orthographic projection and then render it out? It's heavy handed but might work. MG
Miguel m, that was that link I posted! (in the topic starter). And thanks danteA for your tip, but doesn't sound like a real solution for me though. Anyways, I might have a little trick up my sleeve that might work. plan9
morphing 2D imagery?...look into COPs Calosus...perhaps, feed an image from COPs to a grid via point SOP then use the pic() in the color channels. you can distort points from there. lub Mike C. MG
Which color channels? and I tried to use COP2s, but it only worked with the regular COPs (which I have enabled in 5.5).
