quick chops question: overriden chanels

Recommended Posts

hi, how do you override a channel with any already existent chop?

i mean, we can right click any channel and apply motion effect, and the chop with the desired effect is created.

but i want to override a given channel with a motion effect, that is already created

the chopf expresion is not the best option in some cases, and somethimes i just copy and paste nodes inside a chop network and the overriden chanels are deleted, so i have to do the "overriden by" conection again.

You either use ExportChop or rename a channel to follow convention: "obj:myobject:tx" to overwrite tx on /obj/myobject.

EDIT: In both cases you need to turn on Export Flag on nodes (brown one).
