Overload
Maybe I'm still wishing this would happen, but I remember Jeff Wagner mentioning that you can now adjust Pscale in delayed loads?? If there is a new way to do this, please share. Cheers. A

old school
The referenced thread is an excellent one but in that thread there isn't an example of how to bring in pscale in to the new Mantra Point Procedural with a CVEX VOP program. See the attached hip file. fast_instancing_cvex_pscale.hip Edited May 30, 2012 by old school

Tom
The way how point instance behave is realy interesting. Overload, you probalbly get some kind of erorr. But while you are in IPR window and you do some change, suddenly instances will apear, but if you stop and start again, it will not work again, till you do some change. Other way how to fix this is just move those shaders in main SHOP context and apply procedural shader to new geometry. I once get so mad because of this, because it was working before, but then suddenly it wasn't. Applying procedural shader to new object fixed that. Jeff, what can you say about this thing. Or i'm realy doing something wrong Edited June 29, 2012 by Tom
