lzoper
I was most interested in how to break the geometry. Not for the Voronoi Fracture.
lukeiamyourfather
That's a fancy demo but there's nothing going on there that can't be reproduced in Houdini. Can you be more specific about what you're looking for? What do you mean by break?

Macha
You can do that in Houdini, all of it, and more. The non voronoi fracturing may be difficult but there is nothing that prevents you from implementing it yourself. Speed however is another issue altogether. There H needs to make some progress. Can you show how to do it? Some examples. I am particularly interested in how to break the bricks. 1 : 09 And Voronoi tesselation 1:19 because in Houdini The pieces are generally related to one of the sides of the surface of the original object. lzoper
Thanks for the video. And you can see the source file?
Erik_JE
Thanks for the video. And you can see the source file? Try starting yourself, then post what you accomplish and after that maybe people will help.
lzoper
Try starting yourself, then post what you accomplish and after that maybe people will help. I do not know where to start, if you take for example the break in the form of bricks. I want to know what the node can still be useful, except Voronoi fracture
lukeiamyourfather
I do not know where to start, if you take for example the break in the form of bricks. The bricks are just a bunch of boxes with glue between some of them. Some of the other things like wood grain are just Voronoi stretched out. http://www.digitaltutors.com/11/training.php?pid=68 If you want to know the rest search around the forums and tinker. Then come back with more specific questions.
bloomendale
as for the rayfire Uniform boolean: Cut geometry with noise plane in half, perpendicular to longest side of bbox (with some random angle deviation). Repeat until satisfied. Non-uniform: do the same but for some frags use more iterations then for others.
