Listing all available methods Import Export Houdini to Maya and from M

Hi All!

I'm trying to list all the available methods for import export between maya to houdini and from houdini to maya.

Pros and cons for each methods too

1. ALEMBIC

2. FBX

3. OBJ

please comment :)

1. Not supported in older versions of software but otherwise is the best option, use this if possible.

2. Hit and miss results especially with more complicated scenes, usually miss in my experience.

3. Works in older versions of software but supports only polygon information (no cameras, no lights, no hierarchy, etc.).

If I export camera as alembic file:-

And if the camera got changed and replaced with new alembic file.

Do i need to re-import the camera inside Houdini,

Or the same alembic import reads the new alembic file correctly?

Its not working fine with my test.
