Lukich
Let's say I have a four images, all tiff's. A box, it's z-depth, a sphere, the sphere's z-depth. How do I composite all four together so that the z information is read? Thank you very much.
Jason
For each of the Sphere or Box passes; in the Deep Raster tabs of the Mantra ROP, put "Pz" as an additional output variable. You can use the Zcomp in COPs to put them together afterwards.
Lukich
I did that - I have two files of Pz information and two files of Color information. I checked them in Mplay and they work fine showing the greyscale gradient. However, the zcomp cop has only three inputs, foreground, background and mask. How to i wire four nodes into the three inputs? I tried to merge the Pz's and put them into the mask, tried to combine color cops with the z-depth cops and them put them into foreground and background - didn't work. What am I doing wrong? Thanks! hoknamahn
Lukich, you can "weld" RGBA and Pz with a Channel Copy COP. P.S. Gljan post na russkom talke
malexander
You can also use the Merge COP to combine C/A with Pz. ChannelCopy has the (unfortunate) restriction of not being able to add new planes (like Pz).
