kleer001
Hi, I'm working on a shader setup for big gouts of blood. And I think it's starting to look good. There's only one problem, the transparency is coloring the specular highlights. I wanted whatever is visible through the thin parts to be stained red so I chose (0,1,1) cyan for the transparency color. But that seems to do some maths with the specular color of (1,1,1). Should I choose a different strategy for the transparency or a different color for the spec? What's going on? hip attached with shader setup and jpg with example from other geo bloodShading_01.hip Edited July 18, 2014 by kleer001
kleer001
Oh, wait, never mind. This is only a problem if I'm rendering it with other geometry. This is just an element.
