kleer001 Posted February 19, 2015 Share Posted February 19, 2015 ricurve primitives are pretty cool in Renderman. They give you U & V! You can texture them like a long thin flat tube. But sadly the way Mantra renders curves you only get on direction on the curve. Unless? symek Posted February 19, 2015 Share Posted February 19, 2015 There is an optimization turned on by default (albeit available only in both micro-poly modes), which forces Mantra to shade curve only at its edges (making only 't' sensible coordinate).
