wow the battle of admins! dont see this everyday in forums...

Anyways, Fire Glx1 is wayy too expensive for me, and I dont know why, but I have had better experinces and efficiency with Nvidia cards than Ati's - Just my opinion though.

I was lucky enough to win it in a competition where they pick a ticket number out of the hat.

Oddly enough, it was SESI's 2003 christmas party.

Yowch! Two bad admin's... I say we go punish ourselves by consuming large amounts of alcohol. That should teach us a good lesson or two.

Hi Jason,

I'm using a fire gl x1 at home. Been updating drivers pretty regularly .8.133.1 is the latest I'm using.

Every so often I still get a driver error...display reverts to some vga default configuration. Reboot fixes it...driver . The micrrosoft diagnosis points to the driver ..go figure.

cheers

Tom

I've never had a good experience with ATIs and Drivers, last ATI I used at work I could never change Refresh Rates besides its default 60hz.
