keying edit sop

hey all

thanks for the reply's :)

but maybe i wasnt clear enough about what i wanted to do, ;)

basically what u would achieve with a blend shape sop, moving between different poses.

in maya u move into component mode and select ur vertex or point add a key etc.

i would think that u can just key the edit sop, but i havent had any luck with that.

I'm afraid unless you are (crazy enough to be) keying Transform SOPs, the accepted paradigm is to you edit up your target shapes and BlendShapeSOP them together. It seems a little more awkward but you'll find that the blending will be much easier to control just by animating weight shapes rather than trying to handle hundreds of channels representing the animation on each point of a surface.

thats pretty much what ive been doing, and it works well, but i just wanted to make sure that there wasnt another solution :)
