looking for a sample hip

Hi, guys.

I'm looking for a sample hip file once I've seen in a website (I forgot where that was).

It's main purpose was,

1. to put lots of grass curves.

2. the curvature of grasses are controlled by limited samples of curves.

(in that hip, the sample was 3 curves).

3. The process was done by chop.

Any one remember that hip file?

Even got that file?

damn...I think I remember that one...

wasn't it to show how to render grass in multiple passes....I'll have a look when I get home...

It was an old CHOP demo from Houdini4 (I think).. So if anyones got an old copy of Houdini lying around, then it'll be in there.

do you guys remeber the name of the file? i have old tutorials from houdini 4, but the only file called grass was not the one you're looking for. if you remember the name of the file i might be able to find it,

Maybe it was hair? I'm pretty sure it was in the CHOP's specific demos.

A bit OT but how big are all these demo files? Maybe there's a place to host them in .gzip format. I think it would be quite helpful for everyone to have access to them.

Arctor, I remember that hip. It was multi-pass render, right ?

What I'm looking for is something different.

Please look at the picture I uploaded.

In this case, point 25, 37, 47 is controlling point.

All the other points are affected by these three.

The closer one have more influence, farther one have little.

In that hip, this distance calculation was done by chop.
