ParticleSkull
Hey guys, i'm trying to fill a "tank" with water but i'm getting two problems on the mesh. 1st is this line near the top surface. Any idea on how to get rid of this? 2nd is some holes popping up eventually. Thank's, Alvaro Edited August 11, 2016 by ParticleSkull
Federico
For the first problem seems like you deleted the particles below the top surface and then meshed the flip fluid with the "closed boundaries" option box checked.
ParticleSkull
Hey Federico, thx! It may be something related to the fluidcompress1 node. I'll try to bypass it and see what happens.
johner
Try decreasing the Erosion Scale on the ParticleFluidSurface node: Quote Before combining the compressed surface field with the particles, it will be eroded to the compressed fluid’s particle bandwidth. Occasionally seams between the field and particles might be visible; decreasing this parameter value can remove the seams.
ParticleSkull
Hey Johner, thx. It looks like the erosion was working fine on a low-res simulation but it doesn't looks better on the high-res simulation. Bypassing the fluid compress node is working pretty fine, both for the line and the holes. I believe it might get slower though.
