art3mis
Haven't had a blast this past weekend, pun intended. Hit a snag in a network that was working before. In a simple FLIP tank sim I have some geometry (the letters HELLO) than I am trying to delete inside my DOP network. Simply using a Group type of 'Primtives' with Group wildcard '*'. Toggling 'Delete Non Selected seems to work in that my particles are deleted. But when untoggled my geometry should be gone. Any chance a FLIP expert could suggest what is going on? dimovfx
Hm, looks fine to me. Maybe you see the geo that's outside the dop. Have you tried to set your viewport to "Hide other objects"?
Sepu
It works fine here as well, tried what Alexander said
art3mis
Thanks guys. But this then begs the question. Why doesn't my geometry show up at all even if I select the topmost DOP import node? Edited November 22, 2016 by art3mis
art3mis
ok, not sure if this is the correct approach but added a Group SOP to each primitive(letter) BEFORE creating my sim. Now they are hidden and revealed properly
