Atom
Hi All, I have noticed this for a while and thought I would ask if anyone has a solution to this. When I use the shelf tool FLIP fluid from object I get a fairly accurate representation of my object filled with particles. However, if I use Emit particle fluid I get a more blobby representation of my object even with a small division size. Is there any way to get a more shape accurate representation of my object for fluid emission? The image shows the result of the two tools. The left is Fluid From Object and the right is Emit particle fluid. Edited January 13, 2017 by Atom

Skybar
Under the tab 'SDF From Geometry' there, Edge Location has a default value that will make the sdf bigger.
Atom
Lowering Edge Location near zero (0.0046) gets me less "poofy" shape. Also lowering the division size helps as well. Thanks for both of the tips!
