JJ FX
Hi, I need to do some detail on a mesh, but the scene getting slow. And I was wondering, can I somehow remove inside faces, like in an example file? Removing would probably speed up my scene. remove_inside_faces_v01.hipnc
Sepu
The voronoi gives you 2 prims groups, inside and outside, you can blast either or.
JJ FX
Yeah I know that. But Im already blasting some pieces. That gives me not only inside and outside groups. Here is a screenshot. Red is inside group. And what I want to blast is the geometry thats between those pieces. Noobini
I'm going say the bleedin' obvious.....add a Delete at the bottom, set to prims, group inside ? is that not the desired result ? (tho you said you already blasting some pieces...that was BEFORE the unpack..so not sure if this got you the result intended...prolly not) Edited October 3, 2017 by Noobini
c0y
Hi, I guess what you want is deleteing the overlapping pairs of polygons. You can do that with a "clean SOP" : tick Consolidate Points, Fix overlaps, Delete Overlap Pairs and Remove Unused Points. This should delete the inside faces. remove_inside_faces_v01b.hipnc Edited October 7, 2017 by c0y
