Bulgrozz
Hi! I'm not sure wether it is a real issue or not. I just don't understand why, under certain circumstances, the polyExtrude don't weld the extruded points (though Divide Into is set to Connected Components). This short video will show what I mean:
nuki
Weird. If instead of using the extrudeFrontSeam group you create another unshared edge group between the two polyextrudes you end up with 24 points. Both groups are identical though. Bulgrozz
You're right. The extrudeFrontSeam group seems broken...
Daniel_Daniel
Has anyone found a solution for this?
Noobini
some sort of bug. If you try rename group extrudeFrontSeam to SomeNewName, then extrude group SomeNewName it still doesn't work. However if you use a group SOP to show extrudeFrontSeam, then enter new name in Group Name as SomeNewName, then extrude that...it will work. The extrudeFrontSeam/extrudeBackSeam that come out of the extrude SOP is buggy.
