Overload
Hello Everone, I just finished this I3D project. Looking for crits or suggestions. This was a project for my Houdini particles class at SCAD. Thanks, any comments are more than welcome. http://www.overloadgraphics.com/Smoke_Odforce.mov Anthony

Overload
Hey Thanks.. This was my first stab at I3d really. I thought it was pretty fun, now that I have the general idea of how it works. I probibly spent more time screaming at the computer then I need to, but thats the point of learning it I guess .
Joss
Is it some default i3d shader was used in this project?
Overload
Uh, no not hardley... I spent quite a bit of time tweaking this, so its far from default.

How much did it take, i3d adn final render? That's intreresting and important!
Overload
hehe..yea render times. . The i3d files took about 10 minuites each to render ( give or take ). Then the actual TGA files took an additional 5-10 min each. So for just 160 frames, was a little better than 24 hours. But I also bumped my particle count WAY up right before render time. I had a total of 3 emmitters, and each one had an impulse birth rate of around 200 - 250. But now that I know what all the settings do for the shaders and i3d output, this project would have went alot faster (which seems to be the case with any project IMO ). Thanks guys.
