chrisribar
hello! I am having trouble making gravity work in two directions. Basically the world is a tube and I want objects to magnet/have a gravity like force along the Z and Y axis but not on the X axis. I attached my hip file and a picture. Any help would be great! Thank you! tube_attractor.hip
kfu
I think simply using volume advect particle trick can get what you want, also using vdb sdf to get nice force gradient. tube_attractor.hipnc
Noobini
...for me, there's no need to overcomplicate things. your metaball is round, simply add a transform after the metaball, scale it to 10 in the X axis....ie...now metaball is a tube, not round, no need to involve rocket science.
