Dogman27
Sorry, kind of new to Houdini here & surprised I can't figure this out: How do you stop smoke from being emitted within a dopnet? I have a scene where the smoke from an object ( a cube wired into an object merge wired into a fluid source node that creates smoke density) and then I use a suction target to make the smoke form into text when it rises. The thing is I only want the source to be emitting smoke for about 24 frames, and then I just want to watch the emitted smoke form into words. Does anyone know how I can do this? Thanks! ryew
Quickest way is just to animate the Activation attribute on your Source Volume node to 0 on the 25th frame or set $FF < 25 in that field
Jesper Rahlff
another way is to animate your Volume source node, you can animate the scale from 1 to 0 in your density field
