Diagonal banding or stair stepping in smoke simulation

Any smoke and pyro experts able to tell me what causes the visible diagonal banding in smoke simulations?

My voxel resolution I am sure is good enough at .007, but what else can be the issue?

I'm not an expert, it is viewport representation artifacts, i guess. Maybe if to set 'Volume Quality' to 'High' in viewport Display Option it will remove this.
