Split primitives

I have reduced the number of primitives in a complex object using VDB from Polygon and convert.
However, there are still too many, so I want to reduce the number of primitives further while maintaining the quadrangle division, as shown in the picture attached here.

If you combine This technic with Labs instant Mesh you can make it I think.

Did you try the "preserve quads" option on the polyreduce..?
