There's just a couple of small details that I think would take it to the next level if you care to coninue in volumetrics. A. The cloud texture seems to be swimming. The Geo is moving through the noise, making it look a little like a matte, try using a rest sop or something, not 100% sure if rest will work with i 3d, but try and get the cloud noise to stick to the geo, and animate it's phases ever so slightly. B. A secondary particle system left in the wake of the wings ever so transparent and sloooow disolve. This will help sell the integration of everything. Don't get me wrong, its a fantastic piece, much better than anything i've done using I3d. I bet your just bustin at the seams waitin' for houdini 9 with dynamic volumetrics!
